For three days, NYC's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center became the center point of a collision between all things horror, sci-fi, fantasy and comic book at the 2010 New York Comic Con. Throughout the expansive show floors, hundreds of exhibitors showed off their latest creations to the eager attendees, many of whom were in costume. Panels were held to announce future projects and answer questions from the fans. Screenings of yet to be released movies and shows were displayed on massive televisions. No doubt, New York was the place to be for comic book fans.

Iron Man
A 12 episode anime starring everyone's favorite rebellious hero is the first in a series of Marvel anime projects from animation studio Madhouse (Death Note, Trigun). Iron Man originally premiered on Japan's Animax network earlier this month, but made its American debut at New York Comic Con. Unlike anime-inspired shows like Teen Titans, Iron Man is a fully-fledged Japanese endeavor with everything from the character design to the dialogue distinctly in the Japanese style. The show's storyline is completely original, but is similar in tone to the current Invincible Iron Man comic book series. The anime is expertly drawn and voice actor Keiji Fujiwara (Fullmetal Alchemist's Lieutenant Hughes) is fantastic as Tony Stark.
