I remember first walking into an Inside Beat meeting towards the end of my sophomore year. After seeing some fashion week coverage I was both eager and nervous to find out more. I fought my nerves and walked into the Student Center where I spotted our previous Fashion Editor, Michael Malvasio.

"I loved your story on fashion week!" I exclaimed.

"Someone actually read my story!" Michael replied. From then on, I made it my mission to become Fashion Editor. I never imagined I'd make it all the way to Associate Editor and that Inside Beat would take over my life—in the best way possible. I couldn't have asked for a more fun place to work, learn and make some amazing friends. As I embark into the real world, something way scarier than an Inside Beat meeting, trust me, I don't know what my future holds, but I know that the future of IB rests in good hands.

We all put a large chunk of our college careers into this magazine, and it's weird to be one of the oldest people on staff. We have tried to inform you, make you laugh and blind you with our bright colors. In my case, I have tried my best to style you all and keep the fashion section running smoothly.

To Zoe: Have fun with the fashion section and put your heart into everything you do. I know you'll go far and do great things for us. You're the new Editor, don't freak out!

To Katherine: I sincerely hope you come back to IB after your world travels. You're an awesome girl, the quickest learner I've ever seen and an awesome asset to our staff. P.S I'm really not mean!

To Michael: I know you're in the real world now and living it up in the city where I will hopefully be joining you. I have to say thank you for inspiring me and putting up with all of my insecurities and questions. I hope I made you proud.

Stacy: Oh Stacy. You are Inside Beat. You're so great at what you do, and it's because of you that the magazine is what it is today. I'm really going to miss getting Hansel every Tuesday, "Sorry Charlie, no tomatoes, balsamic on the side." And I know you know my order, too. Thank you for teaching me everything I know and telling me to stop freaking out every five minutes.

To the rest of our fledgling staff: Good luck to you all. Make us proud. You know I'll be picking up the first issue next year.

With that, I bid you adieu in the non-cheesiest way possible. For those of you not familiar with Inside Beat, check us out—you won't regret it. For our readers, especially readers of the fashion section, whoever they may be, we will no longer be printing articles about how to avoid wearing UGGs. You all should know better by now.
