DSquared

Every season, major clothing brands launch multi-million-dollar ad campaigns to sell the latest fashions. Using well-known photographers and models, they create works of art. Inside Beat takes a look at the most talked-about ad campaigns for Fall/Winter 2010.

Marc Jacobs

For his latest men's fragrance "Bang," Marc Jacobs lies naked and oiled on shiny sheets in front of the camera with only an oversize version of his fragrance preventing overexposure. The idea for the advertisement actually came from long-time business partner, Robert Duffy, in a nod to Jacobs' now-buff physique.

Tom Ford

Tom Ford's advertisements are always talked about, and this season's are no exception.  For his eyewear campaigns, model Freja Beha Erichsen exposes her breast to an eager black crow. Mixing macabre breastfeeding with high fashion has already turned many heads — and beaks.

Gucci

For Gucci's latest fragrance "Guilty," creative director Frida Giannini was reportedly inspired by the Barbara Streisand song of the same name. The ads feature Evan Rachel Wood, actress and on-off girlfriend of Marilyn Manson, in a scintillating hookup with a male model. Frank Miller, director of Sin City, has also directed a noirtelevision commercial featuring Wood as a femme fatale.

DSquared2

Canadian brand DSquared2, led by twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, fixates on voyeurism and extra doses of PVC this season. Sexed-up female models, wearing only black and red, pose suggestively in display cases while a nude male model watches. This ad toys with the idea of objectification — in this commercial, everyone is on display.
