Camel Coat

The time has come to start layering up, and Inside Beat has you covered. Whether you're walking to class or staying warm in the city, here are the hottest Fall 2010 coats to keep you cozy and chic. For variety during the unpredictable weather it's always best to have at least two coat styles — a heavier knee length number and a lighter cropped one for warmer days.

Military

Inspired by Michael Jackson, the military look will continue to be one of the hottest trends as we move into fall. These jackets are great because they're warm, casual and diverse. You can find them at the mall or your local thrift store. Pick your coat in the shade of army green that fits you best. Our favorite is olive green.

Biker

If Sarah Palin can wear a leather jacket, so can you! You can't go wrong by investing in this perpetually cool jacket. If this is your first time try a classic black. If you're feeling more bold, go for a fun eye-popping color. Pair your jacket with skinny jeans or over a cute dress.

Capes

Yes you read it correctly — the cape will be the perfect piece to ease the transition from fall to winter. They are available in all colors, patterns and sizes. Make sure to choose the perfect length, we recommend about mid-hip. If you don't want to splurge on a trend that might only last one season try this one from Urban Outfitters.

Faux Fur

If you want to spice up your outwear and still save the animals go for a faux fur vest.

The trend has revamped itself and returned with a greater variety of looks to fit anyone's wardrobe. If you're hesitant to try it out go for the "Faux Fur Leopard Vest" from Forever 21.

Camel

If you want a coat to last you all throughout winter then make sure to have a honey colored coat in your closet. Reserve this look for a dinner or exclusive event, it's sure to make your look complete with a touch of glamour. We recommend the "Riverton" coat.
