Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the crew have come together again to make Jackass 3D, and they bring back the craziness and stupidity that made the first two films famous.

The stunts in the third film of the series are just as ridiculous only this time they're in 3D. Originally skeptical, Jackass 3D proved to be funnier than expected because of the slow-motion 3D effects. The opening scene was especially entertaining in 3D with paintballs and other objects flying around the colorful backdrop. The superior effects are also displayed in "Rocky" scenes where Bam Margera (Viva la Bam) throws a cup of water on select cast mates and then punches them in the face. The scenes are shown in slow motion so you can see the full effect of their faces being hit by the boxing glove.

Jackass 3D was hilarious, which is not easy for a movie without any plot. Like its predecessors, there is no logical order to the scenes. The film is just a compilation of random stupid things that each cast member does. Highlights include the guys trying to catch a football and other objects being propelled at them from the wind of a plane, Steve-O (Wildboyz) and Dave England playing tetherball with a beehive, and Bam Margera being tricked into a pit of snakes (his worst fear).

As usual, Jackass 3D is not afraid to go for the gross-out humor that is so prevalent in the first two films. The most disturbing scene in the film comes when Steve-O is strapped into a port-a-potty and shot into the air. Thanks to the camera inside the port-a-potty, the audience can see Steve-O get covered by fecal matter and throw up all over himself when it lands in his mouth. This is not the only scene that uses gross-out humor. The film also has an entire series of scenes where they make their friend, who can fart on command, do various tasks like blow bubbles and pop a balloon with a dart by farting.

Despite the disgusting aspects of the film, Jackass 3D does not disappoint and continues the tradition of painful, stupid stunts that made the first two movies so successful.  Knoxville and the rest of the gang have not missed a beat since creating the movie franchise eight years ago. As long as you can suppress your gag reflex for an hour and a half, Jackass 3D is definitely worth seeing.
