After a three-year hiatus, KT Tunstall has finally come back into the music scene releasing her third full-length album, Tiger Suit. Typically known for her witty acoustic creations and blues-laden vocals, Tunstall adds a new element to her music — an electronic sound. The opening track to the album, titled "Uummannaq Song," gives listeners a taste of her new element from the get go. The song opens with an electronic synthesizer that gets shadowed by Tunstall's powerful vocals.

As the album continues forward, Tunstall's lyrics are incessantly heartfelt and enjoyable. One of the most bluesy and rock tracks on the album, "Push That Knot Away," contains lyrics that sing, "In the morning when you wake/It is a doorway for you to walk through to become what you make." These lyrics exemplify her passionate, advice-like words that flow throughout the album.

"Fade Like A Shadow" is Tiger Suit's first single and demonstrates an instrumental pop vibe while sticking true to blues-highlighted vocals. It's a very upbeat track that will undoubtedly prompt listeners to tap their feet. But not to worry — Tunstall didn't forget to incorporate honest, slower tracks. "Golden Frames" and "The Entertainer" perfectly represent her ability to compose soft, acoustic songs.

Tunstall's album does a substantial job of showing how well-rounded her musical talent is. Not only does she have songs that are upbeat and catchy, but she also has tracks that are slower and still engaging. It seems that Tunstall's comeback into the music scene is nothing short of entertaining.
