Total Mayhem

Spider-Man: Total Mayhem has a lot going for it, but its best feature is definitely the combat system. In addition to a virtual joystick, there are three buttons (attack, web and jump). All of these can be used to perform ridiculously acrobatic combat maneuvers to put down any thug standing in your way. Also, whenever an enemy is about to land a blow, a Spider-Sense button will appear. Pressing it will send Spidey into a slow-motion dodge, followed by a counterattack. Throw in some solid graphics and a bit of hilariously cheesy dialogue and that makes for one fantastic iPhone game.
